Well, we did it, we brought our English Bulldog to Vegas and he walked right through the Bellagio. Guess what, no one even blinked an eye, go figure. Las Vegas is a spectacle. The kids were jaw-dropped, it was an amusement park for their eyes. Even the bulldog was hypnotized! Definitely glad we did Vegas with our kids though, it's nice to be able to explain the oddity of it all; the behavior, the dress code (or lack there of), the 24-7 activities. We were told if you want a peaceful tour, take the earliest time slot. Apparently the tour buses come into the slot canyon area around 10am and it can get a bit congested - and claustrophobic. We hate to admit it, but we zoned out at ground zero. The good thing is, we captured one heck of a scrapbook view for you...Enjoy!
Flagstaff quickly became one of our favorite cities in the Southwest. Flagstaff was only on our radar because our cousin lives in town. Never did we think this place would become a favorite stop! Flagstaff is the best place to call “home base” during a trip to northern Arizona: Sedona is 30 miles south, the Grand Canyon is 50-some miles away, Route 66 is part of the main thoroughfare. Then there is the groovy nature of Historic Flagstaff (downtown), oh and there are enough Na
